Training Opportunity: A Case Study Approach to Hazard Analysis for a Food Safety Plan
Eight (8) Hour Course: April 11, 2019 - 1:00 PM – 5:30 PM and April 12, 2019 – 8:00 AM-12:00 PM
This course will provide a refresher on the preventive control rule and focus on identifying and preventing hazards as well as covering pre-requisite programs. The audience for this training are those who are field inspectors, training field inspectors, or supervising field inspectors as well as those who need to understand this material to write and audit comprehensive procedures. The course is full of case studies and real life examples that are used to demonstrate situations an inspector may face in the field. The course is 8 hours - Thursday afternoon and Friday morning (4/11-12) following the MFRPA meeting in Houston. This training is being sponsored by the Association of Food and Drug Officials (AFDO). 3rd Annual Program Standards Coordinators Workshop
Monday April 8, 8:00am-12:00pm
This half-day session is a forum for PSC to learn and dig deep into the Standards. The Workshop will include facilitated discussion and break outs to discuss the hottest topics and challenges specific to the PSC role. It may also feature skills training led by professional trainers. This workshop is for Program Standards Coordinators only; if the PSC cannot attend, a designated alternative representative may attend.
